About Strathalbyn South Australia
Strathalbyn is a beautiful little town nestled on the edge of the Adelaide Hills, some 60km from Adelaide. First settled in 1839 by Dr John Rankine and his family, Strathalbyn has a good solid Scottish heritage.
Strath (as we affectionately call her), retains a significant amount of her early heritage, with beautifully restored buildings and a relaxed atmosphere.
